People ask me why I would want to have a tracking device in my vehicle. Knowing where your loved ones are, especially if we are older, gives me peace of mind. Not only for myself, a senior, but also for our children, knowing that we have reached our destination by simply tracking our travelling route, helps all involved to be worry free. Let me tell you our story, we were feeling a bit worried about travelling in our car for a little vacation we were taking into the U.S. Before we left, we had our small tracking device installed into our car where it cannot be seen. We did not have to worry about our vehicle being stolen as we made pit stops and sight seeing breaks along the way. If something had happened to our car, all we had to do was use our web-enabled cell phone to disengage the starter, or just call our children who could also do this from their computer at home. Our children or ourselves then could locate where the car is (in real time) and have the police go and pick up the car and bring it back to us. Another great feature of this tracking device is that it uses the web-enabled cell phone to open the car doors if the keys have been locked inside. Our daughter was tracking us all along the way, monitoring our movements so that if anything looked out of the ordinary, she would have been able to call us to see if everything was ok. If we could not have been contacted, she would have notified the authorities and they would have a place to start their search for us.
